CONDITIONS: The Southwest Conference opened up the 2017/18 season with bombing 6-8 foot surf with double overhead sets on the southside of the Huntington Beach Pier for Saturday’s event. The surf subsided on Sunday with 4-6 foot faces and clean conditions.
